Dr. Mohammad Habibur Rahman is a highly distinguished Senior Consultant Urologist, Kidney Stone Surgeon, and Uro-Laparoscopic Surgeon. He completed his MBBS from M A G Osmani Medical College, Sylhet, and went on to qualify in the prestigious Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS Health). He achieved his advanced Fellowship in Urology (FCPS) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), Dhaka, and was conferred the prestigious Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS, USA). Dr. Rahman is also an alumnus of Sylhet Cadet College.
In recognition of his groundbreaking work and surgical innovation in Urology, Dr. Rahman was awarded the prestigious Major General K.M. Siraj Jinnat Memorial "Gold Medal" at BAUSCON 2020 by the Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
His extensive professional career includes distinguished appointments as Senior Consultant at the National Institute of Kidney Disease & Urology (NIKDU) — the apex institute for kidney diseases and urology in Bangladesh — as well as Senior Consultant and Junior Consultant at Mugda Medical College, Dhaka, and Assistant Registrar at NIKDU. Currently, he serves as Senior Consultant of Urology at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, Bogura, and provides private specialized care at Samorita Hospital Ltd (Panthapath, Dhaka) and TrustCare Diagnostic & Consultation Center Ltd (Mohammadpur, Dhaka), as well as regular visiting consultations in Cumilla at Popular Diagnostic Centre Ltd. and Cumilla Medical Center (Cumilla Tower).
